The first thing I needed was a base to work off of. I found a 4 pack of corks at Hobby-Lobby that have been working great as a base. I then stuck a toothpick in the cork and rounded up a ball of green stuff and put it on top of the toothpick.
After letting it dry overnight it made a great starting point to work on the head. I tried before without letting it dry and I had tons of trouble with the green stuff pulling away from the toothpick.
