Games Workshop is in the process of moving its U.S. headquarters from Maryland to its current manufacturing and distribution center in Memphis, Tennessee, consolidating sales, factory, and operations in one location. “If we have all of our resources in one central location, we will be that much more effective, efficient, and productive,” a GW spokesperson told us. The move will wrap up by July 31st.
Among the activities that the new consolidated headquarters will support is an expansion of the number of company stores in North America.
This pretty much solidifies it for me that we will have a Games Day in Memphis next year. I had posted about this earlier when I saw that the next location for Games Day would be announced at this years. Now with the move to Memphis official I am going to go ahead and go on record as predicting that next years Games Day will be in Memphis.
