Grand Master rides in the chimera with the 9 man henchman squad after making the purifiers scoring units (giving a total of 5-7 scoring units) He fires his four shots per turn from the top of the hatch with his psycannon, along with the four meltas at any vehicle nearby or exposed foot troop. When it is time to assault he leads the Assassins which are swinging with 20 WS 5 STR5 Init 6 power weapon attacks. Rad grenades lower his unit’s foes toughness by 1. The unit also gains and they shall know no fear from the Grand Master.

Cotez joins the servitors and has one of two roles. He can sit on a back field objective near an area where an outflanking unit might come on. Any outflanking unit would take 3 plas cannon and 2 multimelta shots as it entered. Or he goes to midfield to use sanctuary on friendly units and provide firebase support. In dawn of war this is the first unit deployed (1 chimera, 1 troop, and 1 hq) and they surge forward on the first turn to limit where the opponent can enter the board without being shot at.

Nothing in the list gets out of their rides until is required or until the shooting has softened targets up. The Grand Master is primarily a counter charge unit. The purifiers also offer cleansing flame, then 24 force weapon attacks on the charge, with 15 of them going at init 6.
